After five years on the road as a gun-for-hire touring musician with some of Canada’s best Roots and Alternative acts (including Sam Weber and Luca Fogale), Jacob Weil has finally found a home in his own music.
Equipped with both keys and guitar, Jacob weaves through the genres of folk, Americana and alternative music, inviting the listener to take an honest look at a life half-lived. His live shows move quickly and are often guided by impulse, augmented on the fly, as he tells stories of strength, tenderness, courage, and nostalgia.
Using the characters in his songs, Jacob invites the listener through passages of time bringing them into his soul to share experiences and recollections that have propelled him to where he is now.
